Description

After the first night imaging this target I realized I had wildly miscalculated the effect of nearby Algieba, mag.2.20 star on the CDK-6200MM FOV. Before the meridian flip, the effect of the nearby monster star on the field were noticed via a small internal reflection, but after the flip, the reflections were quite destructive. I decided to push on as the beauty of the target and the nearby area is quite exceptional and publish the image nonetheless. I recommend the entire image be seen in max resolution but I want to bring to your attention two specific areas besides the centerpiece galaxies: first observe the interacting galaxies at the bottom left corner of the image (UGC05632, incredible!) and then look right above NGC3227, there are two galaxies there (one that looks almost like a sci-fi Saturn) which appear to be interacting as well (PGC030397)

Pixel peep and enjoy!
